Introducing Fundraising that has Out-of-the-Ordinary Consequences

Schools Raise Funds by Selling Modern Cleaning Cloths that Thoroughly Clean
without Chemicals or Paper Towels. This Results in Chemical-Free Cleaning
that’s Healthier for Families and Better for the Environment.

City, State, Month, Day, Year – Finally a good alternative for school fundraising – a useful cleaning product that’s good for personal health, while also being eco-friendly. The cleaning product is called E-cloth® – a line of highly developed cloths that uses advanced fiber function to clean – not a chemical reaction. The deep cleaning power comes from a remarkable fiber that cleans any hard surface with just plain water. Consequently, cleaning is healthier because it’s chemical-free. Also, no paper towels are used, so the trees to manufacture them are saved – as is the landfill waste they create.

“The good news is no longer do school fundraising efforts have to send a mixed signal to students by asking them to sell unhealthy, calorie-rich candy and cookie dough, or the landfill woes magazines and gift wrap add to,” points out Allan Coviello, CEO of TADgreen Inc., the New Hampshire-based company that brought the health and eco-friendly E-cloth to the U.S. in 2007.

The students at East School will be participating in the E-cloth Cool Green Cleaning Fundraiser running November 25 – December 31. During this period the school will earn 40% on every E-cloth item sold. The students are raising funds for a class trip to Washington in April. For further information please visit www.eastschool.com.

E-cloth is truly a “green living” product. It effectively replaces cleaning of the past with a way to deep clean without the use of inadequately-tested chemical cleaners – and the pollution they cause. They also clean without paper towels eliminating the energy used to manufacture, deliver and dispose of them. E-cloth is re-used over-and-over (up to 300 machine washes) so it cleans for years, not moments.

What We Don’t Know Can Hurt Us

Many consumers tend to think that household cleaners on store shelves must be safe because we assume that they have been tested, and meet some type of criteria established by a regulatory agency. Unfortunately that just isn’t true. More and more consumers are questioning what the consequences are to regularly exposing themselves and their families to chemical cleaning products. Are the cleaners we use innocuous? Or are the cleaning products we use actually putting our health at risk?

We’ve been trained that we must clean with a variety of household chemicals. But we don’t have to. Once one has tried cleaning with E-cloths, they quickly find this out. E-cloth’s only cleaning companion is pure water, no cleaners. Whether they are bio-based, natural, petrochemical-based – there are simply no chemicals to harm you and yours,” Coviello notes.

Populations such as children, the elderly, pregnant women, and people with allergies and respiratory ailments are particularly vulnerable to household chemicals. Young children “live on the ground” – crawling on the floor, then putting their hands in their mouth transferring chemical residue.

Long-Term Savings and Cleaning

E-cloth users save money as there are no paper towels or expensive household chemical cleaners to buy. E-cloth cleaning goes on-and-on because they are re-used. Simply rinsing them under hot water for day-to-day use, and machine washing as needed, will keep E-cloths cleaning effectively for years.

E-cloth’s cleaning abilities are a result of combining highest quality raw materials with superior fabrication methods. This creates millions of tiny cleaning edges that scour surfaces by penetrating, lifting and removing dust, grime, oil, grease and even bacteria with just water.

The E-cloth product line includes a range of cloths uniquely designed to clean any hard surface, like stainless steel appliances, stove tops, granite counters, bathtubs, shower stalls, flooring and big screen TV’s .

E-cloth® products were introduced in the U.S. by TADgreen Inc., a Greenland, NH-based company founded in 2007, in response to the growing consumer need for environmentally responsible cleaning products. E-cloth’s chemical-free cleaning includes a variety of products for safe use throughout the home, in the office place and outdoors.  Visit the company’s website at www.ecloth.com.
